It is a matter of great joy that an Alumni Association has been formed to organize the alumni of our polytechnic. Through this association, all the alumni will be able to meet their old friends again, relive the moments which we had lived years ago. This initiative taken by the college administration is a very commendable effort, which we all have to make a reality together. Let us take some time to cherish those memories, friendships and experiences. Whether you are a recent pass out or an experienced professional, your journey is a testimony to the legacy of this institution. We are proud of the impressive work you have done in your respective fields and the records you have created. Through this association, not only will the alumni meet, but the current students will also get the benefit of your deep experiences, they will benefit from career guidance and important advice. New technical information will be shared, and meritorious students from poor economic backgrounds will be supported.  Right now the infrastructure of our institute is quite old, all the apparatus and machines are quite old, we can make a significant contribution in renovating all this.

So far we have only taken from the society, now that many of our alumni are free from their family and office responsibilities, it is time to give something back to the society. Through this association, we can give a lot to the society which can be accomplished together with our institute. At present, the falling water level in our state is a burning problem, it cannot be solved by relying only on the government, to deal with this, we can all make an important contribution in spreading the technology of rain water harvesting to the people and implementing it properly.

Today we would also like to remember those great teachers of ours, who shaped us and made us capable of achieving success in our fields of work. Many of those teachers have now left this world, we are all grateful to them and pay tribute to them.  And we salute the teachers who are amongst us now, and want to express our gratitude to them. Let us all pledge that whatever we have gained from this institute in our lives, and enriched it with our experiences, we should offer some part of it to this great institute of ours, with body, mind and money, so that the dignity of this institute can be restored and the number of students admitted in the institute can be improved significantly.
